With both Prime Day going on this week and the FIFA World Cup this summer, there’s no better time to upgrade your TV than now. I have reviewed many TVs over the years and spent hours with the Samsung The Frame Pro TV at an exclusive media event in the company’s training office in New Jersey. My take? It’s a stunning TV that makes colors pop, blacks cut deep, and pictures look crisp and clear.
The Amazon Prime Day deal brings the price of the 65-incher down from $2,097.99 to just $1,497.99. That’s 29% off and a 65-inch 4K Neo QLED Mini LED TV for under $1,500. It’s a deal you won’t want to miss.
Why get the Samsung The Frame Pro (2025)?
The Samsung The Frame Pro (2025), which comes in 75- and 85-inch sizes as well, is perfect for the living room. Though you might find other uses for it, too. One of our writers, for example, used the step-down Samsung The Frame TV in place of multiple monitors, making his workspace neat and tidy. TV viewing, however, is where this TV really shines. Mount it flush to the wall, and when it’s not on, display artwork from the built-in library or even your own photos so it looks like a picture frame on the wall. The matte screen further makes it look like a painting and not an image on a screen. A glare-free panel is a feature every TV should have.
Set-up is a breeze thanks to the Wireless One Connect Box, so you don’t have to run unsightly cables. It has Alexa built in for simple and convenient voice control. As a Mini LED, you get precise pixels thanks to more tiny LEDs behind the panel, which ensure accurate color reproduction, high brightness, contrast, and natural skin tones.
The 2025 model TV, named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things last year, offers up smooth motion as well, so you can rest assured that the soccer game will look fantastic. When you want to play some video games, you get smooth visuals and motion, too, thanks to VRR at up to 144Hz refresh rate.
During my time with this TV in New Jersey, I watched a variety of shows, and there was no visible motion blurring in fast-action scenes. Though it isn’t as vibrant as other models with more muted colors than Samsung’s OLED models introduced last year (which I spent time with as well), the matte display is a highlight. There are no noticeable reflections, which means you can comfortably watch in a bright room without worry.
At $1,497.99 with the 29% discount, down from $2,097.99, this is a steal for this gorgeous TV. You won’t get as big a discount on the larger sizes, but if you want to save even more, you can consider the 65-inch The Frame model, which is just $997.99, down 33% from its original price of $1,497.99. It’s similar with lower peak brightness and no Wireless One Connect box, but ideal for casual viewing. While there’s a newer 2026 model, The Frame Pro, it’s just an incremental improvement with modest upgrades, so this one remains the best value option.
