When it rains trailers, it pours trailers. This week, studios from far and wide decided to drop an avalanche of coming attractions on us. We’ve got trailers for the hotly anticipated new seasons of spectacular sci-fi dramas, long-awaited sequels to beloved classics, and more. We’ve even got a new movie from Taylor Swift, who is essentially an industry unto herself.
To make sure you don’t miss anything, we’ve gathered all the hottest trailers into one place—this is what you’ll be watching in the next couple of months.
The End of an Era
It’s Taylor’s world, we’re just living in it
First things first: international pop superstar Taylor Swift features in End of an Era, a documentary series about her record-breaking Eras tour. If you’re a Taylor Swift person (and you know who you are), you’ll be all over this. There’s behind-the-scenes insight, cameos from the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Kelce, and footage of Taylor getting wheeled to the stage hidden inside a giant cleaning cart, which is apparently how she likes to do it. If you’re not a Taylor Swift person, there’s plenty more to keep you entertained.
Either way, End of an Era starts streaming on Disney+ on December 12 with a two-episode premiere.
Fallout Season 2
Welcome to New Vegas
Amazon Prime Video brought Bethesda’s legendary post-apocalyptic video game series to the small screen in the first season of Fallout, and it was a hit. People loved the Norman Rockwell-meets-Mad Max aesthetic; they loved the black humor; they loved Walton Goggins walking around as an irradiated, immortal ghoul with a big hole in his face. The second season looks like it’ll be bigger and better as the story moves to New Vegas, an iconic location from the games.
Video game adaptations had a big week, but more on that later. Fallout season 2 kicks off on Amazon Prime Video on December 17, so it’s coming soon!

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2
Make way for the king
Prime Video isn’t the only streaming service readying a second season of a big-budget sci-fi franchise. Apple is here with another cycle for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which pits ordinary humans against the likes of Godzilla, King Kong, and other “titans.”
The titans aren’t always hostile, but I’d still steer clear of the 400-foot death machines if I were you. Legacy of Monsters is Apple’s attempt at a big, expensive, IP-driven blockbuster action show. It may not be the smartest sci-fi series out there right now, but it’s a fun watch. Season 2 premieres February 27, 2026.
Wuthering Heights
Literature, but make it sexy
Moving onto movies, Warner Bros. is hoping you spend your Valentine’s Day watching Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, which the trailer calls “the greatest love story of all time.” Whether you agree with that or not, the movie is making a lot of waves. Margot Robbie is Catherine, and Jacob Elordi is Heathcliff, a pair of young lovers torn asunder by class, circumstance, and cruel fate. This new movie version has a modern soundtrack from Charlie XCX, sumptuous cinematography, and lots of suggestive shots of pipes and dough. The movie kind of feels like Wuthering Heights for the TikTok generation. Is that a good thing? A bad thing? We’ll find out on February 13 when the movie opens in theaters.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Wahoo!
Mario first made the jump from video games to the big screen in 1983’s Super Mario Bros., which was so terrible that he stayed away from Hollywood for the next 30 years. Lessons were learned, and 2023’s Super Mario Bros. Movie was much more successful. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will follow up directly on that mega-hit, with the likes of Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Jack Black all returning as Mario, Luigi, and Bowser.
This time, they’re blasting off into the far reaches of space with an adaptation of the Wii-era Super Mario Galaxy games, which is a fun choice. Joining the cast is Brie Larson as cosmic princess Rosalina.
The Super Mario Galaxy will provide fun for all ages when it lands in theaters on April 3. And if you’d rather stick to the games, you have 40 years of options. Did you know you can play classic Mario games on your Android device?
The Devil Wears Prada 2
Groundbreaking
Back in 2006, no one could have predicted that a movie about how hard it was to work for Vogue editor Anna Wintour would become an enduring cultural touchstone, but so it went. Now, two decades later, Meryl Streep returns as high-powered fashion editor Miranda Priestly, the Wintour analog, and Anne Hathaway is back as Andy, her long-suffering assistant who, I guess, is in her orbit. We’ll find out why when the movie hits theaters on May 1.
Or you can spoil yourself and read the book on which the movie is based, Lauren Weisberger’s Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns. Why couldn’t they have called it that? We’ll soon see whether The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a pointless cash-in or if it joins the ranks of great movie sequels.
Toy Story 5
Analog vs digital
Speaking of great sequels, this one has a lot to live up to. The Toy Story movies have been coming out since the ’90s and pretty much every one has been a banger. In Toy Story 5, the boring old analog toys will come face to face with their greatest nightmare: a tablet. How’s an action figure supposed to compete with that?
Toy Story 5 will be out in theaters on June 19, 2026.

The hype machine never sleeps
I don’t know why Hollywood studios got together and decided that the second week of November was when they needed to drop every big trailer in their arsenal, but I am thoroughly hyped. And these are just the most buzzworthy trailers to come out in the past few days; I don’t know how any smaller trailers managed to get any people to pay attention amidst this deluge.
In any case, there’s a lot coming our way at the end of the year and through the next. The next time studios want to drop this many big trailers at once, some warning would be nice.
