Spotify Wrapped 2024 has officially dropped, with Spotify users around the world starting to see the annual roundup appearing in the app. If you’re not seeing your 2024 Spotify Wrapped yet, be sure to update the app on your phone to prepare for its arrival.
How to View Your Spotify Wrapped 2024
Spotify Wrapped 2024 has finally arrived, landing on the app on December 4, 2024. This is a little later than the past couple of years, when Wrapped arrived before the end of November. But it’s better late than never for this joyful exploration of your listening habits from the past 12 months.
To see your own personal Spotify Wrapped for 2024, you should be able to access it in the Spotify app. So, just open the app, click Home, and then look at the top menu bar. You should see a tab marked Wrapped, surrounded by a colorful outline.
Click that, and you should see a whole collection of Wrapped content. Your 2024 Wrapped will run through what you listened to, but you’ll also find a playlist full of your top songs of 2024, general roundups or music and podcasts, and clips of your favorite artists thanking you for supporting them.
For the first time, as well as the usual Wrapped roundup of your past 12 months of using the app, Spotify’s AI DJ has got involved too. Just click the DJ: Wrapped link inside the app to hear the AI DJ commenting on your year in music, and playing a selection of your favorite tracks.
Another new element for 2024 is an AI podcast dedicated to your 2024 Wrapped results (found under Your Wrapped AI Podcast). Built with Google’s NotebookLM tool, it features two AI hosts delving into your year in music. While NotebookLM’s AI podcasts have been around for a while, if this is your first time hearing one, you may be surprised at how good it is.
I’m Surprised by My 2024 Spotify Wrapped
I love seeing my listening habits exposed every year by Spotify Wrapped, and this year is no exception. However, there are some surprises for me this year, including how many minutes I spent listening to both music and podcasts (by boosting my Spotify listening hours), and how my music tastes seem to have shifted a little.
This won’t stop me sharing my 2024 Spotify Wrapped on social media though, as I’m not the sort of person who feels ashamed about what I’m listening to. Yes, I still listen to The Beatles more than any other artist. What of it?!
