Spotify Wrapped is almost here to showcase your personal listening habits throughout 2024. But thanks to the popularity of that yearly recap, other online services have jumped onto the bandwagon. Here are some of the other copycats you might not know about.
Music, Languages, and More
Apple Music: There’s no need to wait for a year if you’re an Apple Music subscriber. You can head to the Apple Music Replay site and see monthly music stats from your account. Some of the information includes minutes listened along with top artists and songs. You can also see music milestones. At the end of the year, you can also see a year-end Replay with more stats and a yearly highlight reel with an audio-visual recap of the songs you listened to the most. That can be shared on social media.
Amazon Music: While not as full featured as Spotify or Apple, you can enjoy the My Year In Review from Amazon Music. That’s a playlist of 50 to 100 songs you enjoyed most during the year. That’s accessible in Playlists on the app or online. There are no other statistics to view.
Duolingo: Recaps are for more than just music services. The language-learning app Duolingo has its Year in Review. Just open up the app and a pop-up will appear. Select See the Year in Review. You can see information like how many lessons of a language you completed, experience earned, longest streak, and minutes spent learning.
Reddit: With the Reddit Recap, you can see a rundown of all of your activity on the social network. You can see what communities were joined, popular posts you enjoyed, favorite topics, and much more. It will also highlight recaps from your different communities.
Wrapped Up in Fun
It’s not hard to see why Spotify Wrapped has spawned a number of imitators. It provides a unique way to visualize your yearly online habits in a fun and easy to understand way.
If you’re a Spotify fan, make sure to do this one thing to prepare for Spotify Wrapped to arrive. While you’re waiting, you can also still view your old Spotify Wrapped playlists.
