Mourinho
Sit back for an absorbing sports documentary
José Mourinho, sometimes known by his self-bestowed nickname “the Special One,” is one of the most successful and decorated coaches in the history of soccer. He’s won major domestic and European trophies across top leagues in Portugal, England, Italy, and Spain; he’s famous for his highly organizaed defensive strategies; and his charismatic personality, colorful press confereces, and feuds with other managers have made him a celebrity personality.
Filmed over the course of two years, Mourinho explores the coach’s life and career. It includes both behind-the-scenes looks at Mourinho’s process and interviews with football legends like Sir Alex Ferguson, Zlatan Ibrahimović, and Frank Lampard.
All three episodes of Mouringo are available to stream now.
Conversations With a Killer: The Charles Manson Tapes
Stratch that true crime itch
Conversations With a Killer is a successful Netflix docuseries that highlights some of the most infamous figures in all of true crime. If you’re a true crime buff, this is the kind of series that will have you spellbound. If you’ve never heard of Charles Manson, it’s a great opportunity to learn about a bizarre, bloody piece of history.
Banana Fish Season 1
Complete with new English dub
Anime series are hugely popular, and Netflix is about to host a classic. Banana Fish is a 2018 series based on the manga series of the same name by Akimi Yoshida, which ran from 1985 to 1994. Set in New York City in the ’80s, the show follows Ash Lynx, a gang leader who uncovers a conspiracy to sell a dangerous new drug, called “banana fish,” that brainwashes its users.
Banana Fish has action, tragedy, and a melancholy romance. The highlight of the Netflix drop is a new dub track, the first time the show has been properly dubbed into English. At 24 episodes, it’s a perfect new epic to binge.

Don’t Say Good Luck
Get in, laugh, get out
Don’t Say Good Luck is a dramedy about a teenaged girl trying out for the lead role in her high school musical, while family drama swirls around her. The lead role is played by Sunny Sandler, daughter of Adam Sandler, who serves as a producer. Comedic heavyweights like Melanie Lynskey, Max Greenfield, and Stephanie Beatriz fill out the supporting cast.
It’s possible that Don’t Say Good Luck will lean a little too hard into drama for those looking comedy and a litlte too hard into comedy for those looking for drama. But just in case it doesn’t get the balance right, it’s a quick watch at 93 minutes.
