When it comes to music streaming recaps, Spotify Wrapped gets most of the attention. However, Apple Music has its own review feature, and it does Spotify one better: it shares your listening trends on a monthly basis.
Apple Music Just Dropped the First 2025 “Replay”
January did feel like an entire year, but the reality is we’ve only made it through one month of 2025. While Spotify users can only wait patiently for the next ten months—or perhaps use them to prepare for Spotify’s end-of-year Wrapped recap—Apple Music subscribers are already privy to those delicious listening stats.
Apple Music’s feature called Replay 2025 creates a playlist for each month, effectively constructing your sonic profile for January, February, and so on. If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you should be able to access your January playlist now—or at least, very soon.
How to Find Your January Replay on Apple Music
Whether you’re using Apple Music on a mobile device, a browser, or as a desktop app, you can locate your first 2025 Replay via the following steps:
- Navigate to the Home tab.
- Scroll down and tap the Replay 2025 playlist card.
- Add the playlist to your library.
The data obsessed will be happy to learn that, along with this new January playlist, you can check out your charts on the Apple Music Replay website. This will have stats like listening minutes, top artists, and more.
Apple will still put out a more comprehensive recap at the end of the year in addition to these monthly check-ins. So, you won’t lose that more zoomed-out reflection.
While the end of the year is a natural time to reflect on our habits, not all of us want to wait that long. Compared to other music streaming platforms, Apple Music offers something unique with its timely aggregation of your listening trends. It’s not bad timing that Apple Music is also running a deal right now, offering six months of streaming for a mere $3.
