Other outlets, like The Weather Channel, show a 16% chance of rain in the day and a 24% in the evening. You might encounter a sprinkle or two, but the chances of a Miami thunderstorm on Christmas Day seem pretty low right now.

Christmas Eve in Miami is looking like a similarly mild day, with a slightly lower maximum temperature of 74°F in the daytime, a low of 69°F and a 25% chance of precipitation in the evening.
What will the weather in Miami be like on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day?
Though we’re still quite a ways out from New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, current predictions are estimating temps in the low to mid-70s in the day and mid-60s at night on both days. At the moment, Accuweather’s prediction calls for a nearly 60% chance of rain on New Year’s Eve (a “passing shower in the afternoon”), though things look to dry up by New Year’s Day, which shows just a 10% chance of rain.
