An Amazon Prime subscription gets you more than quick delivery on orders. It also nets you access to Amazon Prime Video, Amazon’s very own streaming service. Next to Netflix, it’s the biggest streaming service in existence, and there are always new movies and shows worth checking out. Here’s all the new stuff worth watching this weekend, July 17-19.
Ride or Die
Available now!
Ride or Die is the big new Prime Video release ahead of this weekend. It stars Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer as a mild-mannered woman named Debbie Claybourne. Debbie is best friends with Judith Burton, played by Emmy-winning actress Hannah Waddingham. So Ride or Die has some serious acting talent in it right out of the gate. What does it do with it?
It turns out that Judith is actually a globe-trotting assassin. Once Debbie is pulled into her adventures, they go on a madcap adventure that at one point involves Octavia Spencer bursting into a room while screaming and wielding a homemade blow torch, which is all I need to at least give this show a try.
All eight episodes of Ride or Die are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video right now.

Young Farts Trailer Parts
Available July 17
Young Farts Trailer Parts is a new unscripted reality series about Jagger and Dawson Glowatsky, a pair of brothers from Alberta who run a small business called, unsurprisingly, Young Farts RV Parts, where they buy used, beat-up RVS and try to salvage them for hidden treasures. Along the way, they drive over obstacle courses, drop RVs on top of other RVs, and blow things up while they walk away from the explosion in a dramatic fashion.
And they do it all with their family members, which gives the show a wholesome feeling. Young Farts Trailer Parts trades on the easy chemistry between the brothers as they do what they love: wrecking stuff and getting paid to do it. It looks like a pretty good time.
All six episodes of Young Farts Trailer Parts drop together on Friday.

Cast
The Amateur
Available July 17
The Amateur is a 2025 action thriller starring Rami Malek as a talented but introverted CIA cryptographer, a part that should remind fans of his work in the show Mr. Robot. When his wife is killed in a terrorist attack, Malek’s character, Charlie, goes on a one-man revenge quest, using his intelligence to make up for his lack of combat training.
The Amateur got solid reviews when it came out, with many singling out Malek for his compelling performance. The rest of the cast is also very solid, and includes the likes of Lawrence Fishburne, Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, and Jon Bernthal. Despite praise from critics and audiences alike, The Amateur did just okay in theaters, perhaps because people looked at it and figured it was the kind of movie that would be better on streaming. If that’s you, now’s your chance to see it!
Do Not Enter
Available July 17
Originally released by Lionsgate on March 20, 2026, Do Not Enter is about a group of urban explorers who investigate an old, boarded-up hotel said to have a hidden stash of $300 million somewhere within. Inside, they face danger from a competing group of urban explorers as well as supernatural natural beings that threaten their sanity.
Unlike The Amateur, reviews for Do Not Enter were not enthusiastic, but sometimes, even a bad horror movie will satisfy.

ONE Championship on Prime: Lessei vs. Rabah
Watch live on July 18
One thing Prime Video does that other streamers don’t is periodically stream live mixed martial arts matches as part of its ONE Championship series. This Sunday night, it will stream a series of Muay Thai matches live from Bangkok, Thailand, with athletes like Sean Climaco, Stephen Irvine, and Lito Adiwang all competing.
But the title bout is between Iowa native Luke “The Chef” Lessi and Mohamed Younes Rabad, aka the Eagle, from Algeria. Lessi has a 2-3 record at ONE Championship, while Rabah is 2-1 overall.
I don’t know how or why they got their nicknames, but maybe that will become clear during the fight. The bout will stream live at 9:00 p.m. EST.
More on Prime Video
Your Prime Video binge doesn’t have to stop there. If you’re in the mood to watch a documentary (and have some tissues nearby), you may be interested in Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, which follows English singer Jesy Nelson as she navigates life as a single mother to her premature twins. And of course, there’s plenty of older content worth checking out. You still have time to catch up on these terrific Prime Video series before they end.
